Brain Stretchers

You've lost your keys for the umpteenth time. You return home from the grocery store and realize you forgot the most important item. You open your mouth to talk but forget what you want to say?

Your brain has about 100-billion neurons, or nerve cells. Neurons have the ability to gather and transmit electrochemical signals. In other words, your brain is "wired" like a computer. Research on the physical attributes of using the mind has shown that just using the brain actually increases the number of dendritic branches that interconnect brain cells. The more we think, the better our brains function--regardless of age. Use these exercises to stretch your mind, increasing your capacity to think creatively and "in the moment."
