Church Organization
By definition "the church" encompasses all believers in Christ everywhere on the earth (we are all members of "the church"). Beyond this, most churches worldwide do not have a building, staff, budget or programming--they exist in houses, under trees, in the village meeting area. The term "church organization" is used to refer to a typical "Westernized" church that has a building, staff, budget, programming and is organized as an entity unto itself, in addition to its members.
