Marketplace
In a free market economic environment, as prevails in Western culture, the marketplace is where goods and services are bought and sold. Suppliers make or provide these goods and services to the purchaser, or consumer. Methods for influencing consumers toward goods and services prevail in this environment, such as marketing, branding and advertising.
While the church often must exist in the marketplace, it is not designed to be governed by marketplace strategies, tactics and practices.
