Communicorps is an online communications and technologies resource for Christian chuches. It is designed to assist staff and lay leaders in creative and support areas--IT and technologies, photography and videography, brainstorming and idea generation, design and layout, arts and crafts, campus impressions and general ministry support.

This website exists to serve volunteers and other churches and creative professionals who work in a technical, ministry or creative field. It is a hub for ongoing projects, creativity links and educational tools, case studies and volunteer opportunities. My desire is to help churches be better stewards of their information (communications) and their data (technologies).

I regularly receive calls and emails from North American churches and individuals asking for information about media, database, websites, video or other aspects of Communications Ministry. This site is, in part, an attempt to answer many of those questions, and provide resources for ministry.

I believe the Bible teaches that God made every person creative--we are, after all, made in His image, and He Himself is creative. Churches relies on communications and technologies to deliver ideas and practical follow-through. Creativity is an aspect of modern ministry, and understanding how the creative process can be used to further God's Kingdom is helpful. This website is also about how to be more creative, how to get ideas, and how to transform them into real-life solutions.

Communication is at the heart of the church's mission--contributing to the core purpose of sharing the message of Jesus Christ with a local community, city and the world. Technologies are often involved in successful communication, and where the two meet is also a subject area this site covers in detail.
